At GDE Corp, we guarantee your satisfaction in our product. A proper understanding of how a tool should be used is important, and with our new tool comes some education. Please verify the following before submitting a return request:

  1. NEVER In Reverse

    I understand that at no time should the Uniburr tool bit ever used in reverse. Running the Uniburr backwards results in folded cutting edges and a voided warranty.

  2. NEVER At High Speed

    I understand that at no time should the Uniburr be used at high speed. High speed will work-harden the bolt or work piece being chamfered which results in a very short lifespan of the cutter.

  3. Always Appropriate Pressure

    I understand the appropriate amount of pressure must be applied to the Uniburr in order for it to function correctly. Proper amount of pressure is in respect to the grade of steel being cut. Harder steel will require greater pressure for the cutters to engage the work piece.

  4. Know Your Grade Of Steel

    I understand the that the Uniburr can only cut grade 2 steel and below, and the Uniburr Plus can only cut grade 8 steel and below. I also understand that ANY Uniburr CAN NOT cut any grade of steel that is manufactured with Chromoly Alloy, this typically includes, U Bolts, Ball Joints Bolts, Some time rods, and some Lug Studs on various vehicles. I understand that I must know the difference, just as if I would for cutting any steel with any tool designed to cut steel.

GDE Corp products come with a warranty package that includes: Satisfaction Warranty. GDE Corp will replace your uniburr, without charge, if you are unsatisfied AND/OR any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover part failure due to normal wear or tool abuse such as running on reverse. Uniburr Satisfaction is guaranteed for the following:

  • UNIBURR STANDARD – Use on a mixture of varied mild steel, copper, brass, plastics and wood.
  • UNIBURR PLUS – Use on a mixture of varied grades of steel up to grade 8.


This warranty does not apply to accessories or damage caused where repairs have been made or attempted by others. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary in certain states or provinces. GDE Corp tools are covered by our:

  • Satisfaction Guarantee or Tool Replacement. If you are not completely satisfied with the performance of your GDE Corp Uniburr for any reason with the understanding of the UNIBURR limitations as stated, we will replace the defective tool at no cost to you.

GDE Corp warrants this Uniburr to the original purchaser for its useful life against deficiencies in material and workmanship. This SATISFACTION WARRANTY does not cover products that are improperly used, abused, altered or repaired while completing your job requirements in a satisfactory manner. Only deficient products will be replaced.

THIS SATISFACTION WARRANTY IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHERS INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND EXCLUDES ALL INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you. This SATISFACTION WARRANTY gives you specific legal rights that may vary from state to state.

There are only a couple steps we need from you in order to make sure you get the best support. After we have responded to your Form Submission and confirmed a replacement, you will receive an email containing a return shipping label. You will need to package the tool, apply the label to the box, and place the package in your mailbox for USPS to pick up.
